The European Film Academy has announced the first winners of this year’s 28th edition of the European Film Awards. The 7-member jury granted prizes for the best cinematography, editing, production design, costume design, composer and sound design. We are glad to inform that among the winners there are two films which will be presented during the 20 Forum of European Cinema ORLEN Cinergia. Sylvie Olivé recieved an award for the best European Production Designer for The Brand New Testament. Martin Gschlacht was named the best European Cinematographer for Goodnight Mommy. The nominations in the remaining categories will be announced on November 7 during the Seville European Film Festival. The awards ceremony will be held on December 12 in Berlin.
